Computer Final

PHOTOSHOP

Photoshop was my personal favourite of the adobe products. It allows you to edit pictures and mess with them too. You can use different tools to do anything. We have change the colour of people’s eyes, created giant colleges, and tons of other things. I like it because it is fun to work with but it also is easy to understand and becoming a master doesn’t take long.

FLASH

Flash was REALLY annoying! It is made to do animations and stuff like that but it is hard to work with and it really limits you. It didn’t like using images from other programs and the images you can create on flash really can’t look good. We used it to make a rocket movie that you pressed a button on it to launch a rocket.

PREMIER

Premier is a video editing program. It is cool all the stuff it can do but I didn’t really like it at all. I guess you have to be into stuff like that to really appreciate it. We made a really weird video called the FIRE BALL. It was funny and we used cool effects to actually make it look like a fireball.

ILLUSTRATOR

Illustrator is used to make images especially business logos and things like that. It starts out very difficult but as you get used to the tools it gets easier. I didn’t like it as much as Photoshop but as we learned more it sort of grew on me. We made things like business cards and a whole deck of playing cards.

A buisness card is 3 1/2 in by 2 in. Probably because it can easily fit in your wallet for safe keeping!

2 Hour Delay

2 hour delay is much better because you don't have to make up the day of school. If the whole day is skipped then they must make up the day so really you are not missing any school just putting on a different day. With 2 hour delays you are able to sleep in and when you go to class most of the teachers don't make you do much anyways. By that time the ice has melted enough to drive on because the sun likes to clear things up.

Illustrator

Raster images are just pictures when you make them bigger they will get all blurry. Vector images have nodes and can be stretch and keep prettiness. Fill changes the colour of the image. Stroke is the outline of the image. Selection tool is used to move around the stage. Direct selection can manipulate the edges or be more persice in what to move in a group. A group of shapes is two or more shapes that move together. I already said that direct selection tool can choose which part of a group you want to move.

No Holidays

Mr. Mills is making us write about an annoying prompt so I will write about it. I don't think they should cut out holidays because breaks are a time to catch up on all your work and to actually have a life. If they cut off weekends then people could not have time to do anything but school. They wouldn't be able to attend church which is a big thing in a lot of people's lives. The long break that would be at the end of the year would be extremely long. Students would forget stuff they learned over the year. We already have a hard time remembering over the summer if it were any longer no knowledge would be retianed. Overall I think that blogging about all this is pretty pointless. My writing skills are not improving at all and I think that this is a pretty bad idea... If you want us to improve writing skills maybe we should learn to write in English class where we are supposed to learn this stuff.
