Mr. Mills made us make a traditional winter scene but then started calling out 11 different artists. That is why there are random objects everywhere.
Making Brushes
I made these brushes and put them on a picture. The brushes are really esy to make. All you have to do is cut out the picture, desaturate it, and change the threshold. It is really cool. The first one is of a llama. The second is of a monkey. The third is Darth Vadar. The fourth is a rubber ducky. The fifth is of one of my rabbits.
Exploring Brushes

All of these pictures are uploaded made from brushes downloaded from DeviantArt. There are alot of cool brushes to choose from. I decided on using a crows, fireworks, halloween, and abstract brushes. All of them turned out really well. I think my favourite is the crow one because the stamps look so cool.
Exploring Brushes
On this picture I first made the backround. I used a gradient as a base. Then I used bug stamps and put them all over in different colours. Then I used another brush to make tire tracks going all over the place. Then I pasted in a picture of a rubber ducky. I put a quote I found about rubber duckies on the bottom.
Exploring Brushes
These are the pictures that I made with lots of different kinds of brushes. I like the tree on the best. It uses three different types of brushes to make it look that cool. In the christmas coloured one I used three different brushes too. In the grass one I only used one brush. In the one with an A I used two different brushes.

Changing the Colour of A Rose
Thursday, October 15, 2009
I used the curves and the hue and saturation adjustments to make a red rose blue. It was actually pretty easy after I figured out what to do. The only problem is making it still look real. Also it was hard to make it not purple because there was so much red!

We used the clone tool to take out the trash and to make more gophers. It was VERY easy! I was suprised on how simple it was! I liked making more gophers becasue they just pop up!
On this picture we recoloured the lips and eyes. Her eyes look alot prettier than they were before. I had an easy time doing this too. I had to help a few people figure it out!
